National Organization of Veteran’s Advocates (NOVA)
NOVA is a national organization of attorneys and other qualified members who act as advocates for disabled veterans.  NOVA can help find an attorney with the highest level of training in veterans’ law.  There is also a Step by Step Guide about the VA claims process.

Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program

The Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program (Pro Bono Program) was created to provide assistance to unrepresented veterans or their family members who have filed appeals at the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.  Appellants who request Pro Bono Program assistance receive a thorough review of his or her appeal.  An appellant whose case is not accepted by the Program receives substantive legal advice about his or her case and an explanation as to why the Pro Bono Program cannot place the appeal with a volunteer attorney.

The Mesothelioma Center

The Mesothelioma Center provides free information and resources to help veterans that were exposed to asbestos during their service in the military. This exposure can result in several debilitating diseases, such as asbestosis and mesothelioma. The Mesothelioma Center can help individuals find local treatment centers and improve their prognosis.

The Mesothelioma Group a charitable organization supporting the VFW and American Legion. With over 30% of all mesothelioma patients being Veterans, a main part of their mission is to spread mesothelioma awareness to Veterans and their family members. The goal at the Mesothelioma Group is to increase awareness, improving survival rates and life expectancy.

The objective of Conditions Set is to help service members and veterans secure job opportunities through personalized resume development. As a nonprofit organization, all services provided by Conditions Set are offered at no cost to active duty US military personnel and veterans.
